Oke Blessing Oluwadamilola, also known as Ayopadeayo Oluwadamilola Oke, is a freelance writer, screenwriter, and podcast host with experience in both visual and audiovisual media.
A writer of realistic and bright fiction and nonfiction. Heavily influenced by events, experiences, and stories around with particular affinities for low-key romance, thriller, and psychological and personal drama. A believer that storytelling can help shape aspects of living and society. confessed storyteller and is currently seeking representation for her first young adult personal drama story.
As a writer, I started with a flair for journaling years back; after developing that, a fondness for young adult fantasy also developed. I ventured into freelance writing for 4 years, during which I ghostwrote, freelanced, and worked with brands and businesses.
I've been able to work with Bolanle Austen Peters Production as one of the script review interns and worked with a team of writers for a story that covers the development, treatment, and scripting. Also worked with KAJ production as the writer for a project in view.
With my experience as a student of the British Council and Film Lab Africa training for filmmakers, my eye for storytelling and stories has spiraled high.
Also, a part of the MTV Shuga Naija short film innovation lab and currently working as a screenwriter for the team.
I seek to further work with production companies as a screenwriter, working together to bring out the vision of stories to become compelling, shareable, and realistic viewing.
